Acceptance status: Core desktop workflow passed; limited scope
The public editor completed PNG import, Brush editing, Undo/Redo, PSD Save, PNG Export As and reopening both actual downloads. The simple PSD round trip preserved exactly the exported pixels. This is an independent host of early alpha software; these checks cover named fixtures, not complete Photoshop compatibility.
Release and integrity
Official v0.7.0 web archive: 11,044,166 bytes. SHA-256 verified against the GitHub release metadata. The extracted WASM is 24,996,331 bytes and fits Cloudflare Pages' single-file limit.

Workflow checks
| Check | Result | Evidence or limit |
|---|---|---|
| Official release archive | Passed | 11,044,166 bytes; SHA-256 matches the official v0.7.0 GitHub release digest. |
| Original engine files and size | Passed | Original HTML, JS and WASM remain unchanged. WASM is 24,996,331 bytes, below the 25 MiB asset limit; extracted files are pinned by SHA-256. |
| Public Cloudflare host | Passed | The public HTTPS site and official engine return 200. WASM MIME is application/wasm, immutable caching is present, and its downloaded hash matches the verified release. |
| Open PNG | Passed | The original 1200 x 900 practice-poster.png opened in the public editor in Windows Chrome 154.0.8037.98. |
| Basic pixel edit, Undo and Redo | Passed | A visible Brush stroke, Undo and Redo were observed on the public host. A Pencil stroke was separately observed locally. Text operations were not tested. |
| Save PSD | Passed | Ctrl+S downloaded a 269,667-byte PSD with an 8BPS signature and 1200 x 900 dimensions. This fixture has one Background raster layer. |
| Export As PNG | Passed | PNG export at 100% produced a 31,607-byte, 1200 x 900 RGB image. Pixel checks confirmed the black edit in the downloaded output. |
| Reopen saved PSD and exported PNG | Passed | Both actual downloads reopened with the mark intact. PNG re-export after PSD reopening had exactly identical RGBA bytes; Pillow independently decoded the PSD composite to the same pixels. |
| Help, fullscreen and saving reminder | Passed | Help opened and closed; fullscreen toggled. After an editor interaction, attempting to leave showed beforeunload; dismissing it retained the session. This reminder cannot detect every saved or unsaved state. |
| WebGL2 and CPU startup | Passed, startup scope | Both explicit modes started in public desktop Chrome. WebGL2 logged the Gl backend. Mode startup does not establish performance or every editing tool. |
| Startup failure diagnostics | Passed, controlled faults | Controlled HTTP 503, wrong MIME, incomplete WASM and unavailable-GPU cases showed recovery and desktop links. Startup-stall (60 seconds) and download-idle (45 seconds) branches passed with the browser clock advanced; these are fault-injection checks. |
| Narrow-screen site and desktop guidance | Passed, layout scope | At 390 x 844, home and a tutorial had no horizontal overflow; navigation, PNG search and empty search worked. The editor showed desktop guidance before downloading WASM. Touch editing and mobile exports were not tested. |
| SEO and static resources | Passed | Unique English titles, descriptions, one H1, canonicals, static guide text and internal resources are checked at build time. The temporary host has noindex in HTML and response headers; sitemap uses one canonical origin. |
| Text, advanced PSD and other save formats | Not tested | Type creation/pasting, native .pcraft saving, complex layers/effects/gradients, issue 2976, issue 3028, transparency edge cases and Photoshop interchange need separate tests. |
| Desktop installer execution | Not tested | Downloads link to official pinned release assets. Windows/macOS/Linux installers were not executed. |
Try the named test files
Our original 1200 x 900 practice PNG, the saved single-layer PSD, and the verified PNG export make this check reproducible. The PSD contains one Background raster layer; it does not establish type, gradient or effect compatibility.
Read the machine-readable test record.

What this record cannot establish
Complex PSD fidelity, cross-application round trips, mobile touch editing, text pasting and the particular gradient case in upstream issue 3028 require separate tests. No claim of 100% PSD compatibility or complete Photoshop replacement is made.
Browser edits have no automatic autosave or crash recovery. Preserve originals and reopen your downloaded outputs.
